David Ellis is the Pastor of Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Florala, Alabama, where he has dedicated himself to church leadership since 2022. Prior to his calling to Alabama, he served as a ministry leader in various churches and as Director of Missions in Florida for 21 years. He is a proud graduate of The Baptist College of Florida. 

Pastor David has been happily married to his wife Jamie for 29 years and is a devoted father to their three children, Kayla, Ashley, and Andrew. He is affectionately known as “Frank” (Grandfather) to his two grandchildren, Calvin and Eleanor. 

Passionate about teaching the Bible and sharing the gospel, Pastor David aims to make scripture understandable and applicable to life within his faith community. In addition to his ministry, he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson, traveling, and cherishing moments with his family.

At Chapel Hill Baptist Church, our deacons are dedicated, godly men who play a vital role in church leadership and support our faith community in the work of the Gospel, both within our church and in the surrounding area.
